Pakistan Wins 9 Awards at APICTA Awards 2016

Pakistan wins 9 awards at 16th Asia Pacific ICT Awards (APICTA) 2016 ceremony held in Taipei, Taiwan. According to the Pakistan Software Houses Association for IT & ITES ([email protected]), Pakistan succeeded to grab 3 Golds and 6 Silvers at APICTA Awards 2016.

The Asia Pacific ICT Alliance Awards (APICTA Awards) is an international awards program organizes by APICTA annually since 2001, which aims to increase ICT awareness in the community and assist in bridging the digital divide.

[email protected] took 28 teams consisting of 41 people for the 16th annual APICTA Awards to Taipei. Pakistani teams competed against 236 teams from 17 countries across the Asia Pacific region and were judged by more than 60 tech professionals.

The teams from 17 countries including Australia, Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, and Nepal joined in the contest this year.
