Pakistan Has The Largest Brass Mill in South Asia

Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif inaugurated the up gradation of Brass Mill Project at Pakistan Ordnance Factories in Wah on Monday. After up gradation, the production capacity of the factory has been enhanced from 8000 metric tons to 24000 metric tons and hence it has become the Largest Brass Mill in South Asia.

The factory is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and facilities to set new quality benchmark in brass products.

Prime Minister also witnessed Brass making in factory. He was briefed about processing, technology and quality of the products.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the team of Wah Brass will continue its efforts to play a vital role in the economic augmentation of Pakistan.

Prime Minister announced twenty-five per cent allowance and two annual increments for the staff of Pakistan Ordnance Factories.

Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanveer Hussain and Interior Minister Ch Nisar Ali Khan were also present on the occasion.
